Template talk:Kill notice
Is there a way to add the crit effect to this template as an option? Perhaps use the red glow picture and put it directly behind the kill icon? Or would this be impossible?--Piemanmoo 04:24, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- Impossible with wiki markup. -- Pilk (talk) 15:47, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- Looking at the chess diagram templates on wikipedia, I think it would be difficult, but ultimatley plausible.--Piemanmoo 01:18, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- The simplest and easiest option would be to upload the critical kill icons from the game's files. But there isn't any need to show critical kills at all at the moment, so yeah, it's not really worth it. seb26 (talk) 06:32, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- Now that you mention it, that would be much simpler. But it would only be worth it for kill icons that are always crits (backstabs, headshots, gunslinger triplepunch, etc).--Piemanmoo 19:36, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- I'll just leave this here, but the prefix on -webkit-border-radius in unnessecary. Webkit supports the non-prefixed attribute, as will Firefox 4.0 (Gecko 2.0) and IE9. I've snipped this off for the time being. Ath 03:05, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Tables and Killicons
I've been thrashing this around purely in HTML for the last few days (+ some wiki-side testing) and I've come to the conclusion that the main issue behind adding the crit effect is the non-standard resolutions of the killicons used. If we could get a standardised killicon size alongside dumping the icky table tags for delicious div tags this should be fairly easy to fix. Ath 02:46, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- I'd recommend a test template on your userspace, or something to that effect. If you can get it to work, fantastic!--Piemanmoo 04:36, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Friendly Fire?
In the article Friendly fire, Sven posted an image to substitute for an example of a RED Heavy killing his fellow Scout teammate in the kill notice. However, there doesn't seem to be a command for a FF kill. I think it should be something such as team or maybe Friendly?
