About the map maker's medallion
Should the map makers medallion be added to this nav? Mpnov 16:29, 19 October 2012 (PDT)
Missing Contests and Content Packs
The nav template is missing links to the Mappers vs Machines Contest, and the wiki is missing pages for the TF2Maps Asymmetry 2 Contest, the Mayann Content Pack, the Frontline! Content Pack, and the Autumnal Content Mini-Pack. Jboby1 (talk) 12:25, 19 August 2017 (PDT)
On further thought, only the contests, and Frontline! content pack need to be added. Also, the Connect 5 Contest (known officially as "Connect 5: The Original TF2Maps.net Boardgame") finished a few months ago, so that should be added as well, once a page is made. - The frontline content pack is there, I made the page for it. I'll make the page for that contest soon, but on the other hand, is it really a good idea to keep pages about commuity-made maps that are not officially in the game? There is so much of them, that keeping track of them all would simply be pointless in my opinion. VasyaTheWizard 07:42, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
- Most of the custom maps with pages on the wiki are noteworthy in some form or another. Whether winners of a contest, featured in a former competitive leauge, or just popular, quite a few community maps deserve a page. I have to agree with you that not every single community map needs a page, but the maps of note really should have one! On the other hand, the pages already on the wiki? Sure, I agree we should remove some of the more obscure/less important ones. Jboby1 (talk) 08:00, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
- Indeed, there are map articles with literally 1-2 sentences and no pictures at all. I do agree, though, that more popular/contest winners/known competitive maps should have articles about them. I'll write some more info on the Connect 5 page when I get some time later. VasyaTheWizard 08:05, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
