Automatic translation

Is it preferred to have automatic translation or to have it manually be added? The reason it's not currently there is because some languages may not support automatic translation, having to check whether or not your language is supported by the template may be confusing for new editors as opposed to just using {{item name}} or {{common string}}.

I personally think that its preferred to use automatic translation, for languages that might not be supported, might be confusing to some new editors, but this confusion can come with curiosity and will for localization. As always, if someone makes a mistake or does not understand how the dictionary works, we can always guide those new editors.

One reason why I started my editing journey, was because I saw some discrepancies in some /es articles. Yossef • Talk 09:49, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
