Recently I changed this redirect to lead it to Sandvich/ru, but GrampaSwood undid my edit with reason: «This isn't a mistake, it's supposed to lead to sandwich and not sandvich». I don't agree with this. On Russian «Sandvich» is translated as «Бутерброд» so this redirect should lead it to Sandvich/ru. Also, there is already a redirect to Sandwich/ru — Бутерброд (значения). • Sattonru (talk) 19:54, 6 August 2019 (UTC)

These redirects are meant for when people look up something that's common in 2 items. For example, Sandvich is a sandwich and buffalo steak SANDVICH. It's used to guide users when they dont know the specific name. Usually when translating you use links like Sandwich/ru|Бутерброд or {{item link|sandwich}} anyways, so this shouldnt really be used outside of people looking up the name specifically, which should refer to this page either way for the reasoning I mentioned earlier.
