Curiosity about Quake Team Fortress

Hello there,

I have no idea if you will actually see this message but I am curious about the nature of the distant past of TF2. From the edits I've seen you make on the TF2Wiki I figured you may be a person I could ask to help me. Do you know how to access Quake Team Fortress and where I may try to find more information on how to find, download, and play maps from this bygone era?

The best way to find older stuff about Quake Team Fortress is to just use the WebArchive on places like PlanetFortress. If you have the original Quake, you can download the original mod off of ModDB. As JupterSphere said, FortressOne is a remastered version that a handful of people still play today. Maps can be found all over the internet... just do some searching and you'll find what you're looking for. Even I don't know a lot about Quake TF all things considered, but a friend of mine does.

I'm not the owner of this talk page, but you can access a remastered/remade version of Quake Team Fortress called "FortressOne" with a quick Google search. I can't/won't provide any links (even to FortressOne since it should be the first result), as you are expected to provide your own instalation of Quake (the first one) to make it work. As for maps/custom content, FortressOne most likely maintains an index/archive/list of custom content of some sort somewhere, likely in their Discord server. Cheers.
