Introduction

This mission is near-exact to Mannslaughter (mission), it has no bosses other than tanks, but it is still a challenge to unready players.. It is recommended to have atleast 5 players before starting the mission, and to have a good strategy as well..

Strategy

The first wave is already a bit of a challenge for the players, there are no "warm-up" waves on this mission, so players need to have a perfect strategy to pass the first two waves..

First Wave

This wave is a definite challenge for the first wave of a mission. It may seem short, but it is harder than it looks, players will first see the blast giant soldier, and 3 buff, conchorer, and battalion soldiers come with it. To add onto that, the pyros and bowmen will come in with them as well, after all the pyros and bowmen are dead (assuming the players killed the first giant soldier batch), then the second giant soldier batch will come in.

Second Wave

This wave is a little bit easier than wave one, but more longer. The giant steel gauntlets come in with uber medics, and two of each type of scout shown on the board up top will spawn. After all of those guys are dead, the final 30 pyros/flare pyros come in to the party!

Third Wave

The first 12 burst-fire demoman, and soldiers come in together from both sides. This is a bigger threat than expected, and is needed to be taken caution for. After the demoman and soldiers all spawned, the tank will come in, and it isn't just a normal tank, it is a stronger tank with 50,000hp. Considerably more health than most tanks in the game, plus while fighting the tank, the players will also need to take down the bowmen and black-box soldiers. Plus, the giants come in as well with the soldiers and bowmen. The first giant heavy combo comes at around 10 seconds when the bowmen and black-box soldiers come in, then another pair comes in at around 45 seconds. The super scouts first come in packs of 4, around 10 seconds in, just like the giant heavy combo, and 30 seconds to come in again, until there are no more left. Once those are all dead, the team has 24 critted force-a-nature scouts to deal wtih.

Fourth Wave

It begins with soda-popper scouts, shouldn't be too much of a trouble, they also come along with the charged soldiers, but still isn't too much of a deal. Once that first group is dead, the bonk scout horde and the giant demoknights (with uber medics) come in. Still shouldn't be too much of a deal, but can easily pinn a team down if they are not careful around the giant demoknights. The support on this wave is also a bit insane for most supports. Overall the fourth wave isn't too much of a deal.

Fifth Wave(FINAL)

The most insane wave in this mission. The team starts out with the final tank, even though it has 40,000hp (10,000 less than the first tank), it still is a threat, as the critted pyros and soldiers come in. They can be a huge deal, and can pin down a player fighting the tank with ease, so it is recommended that half the team goes for the tank, and half on the critted robots. Once that first group is dead, that is when the giant buff soldier + giant medic combo(s) come in. Plus, the critted rapid-fire soldiers, once two giant buff soldier combo(s) are dead, the first special giant heavy comes in, then once the giant buff soldier combo(s) AND rapid-fire soldiers are dead, the crazy support comes in.. This support is nearly constant, and there is no break for it, once every single robot is dead, well, gg no re.

Trivia

  • This is one of the few expert waves made by Ol'Rusty to have no robot boss. (Excluding tanks)
  • Wave 5 reuses the heal-on-kill giant heavies from the final wave of Empire Escalation (mission) with a few minor tweaks.
  • This is one of the few missions with special spies.
  • This is the first custom Mannworks mission (that was motivated on), created by Ol'Rusty
  • Orginial Name was "Disenagration", but changed due to the stupid sound of the name.
