- Battlefield 3 has an assignment named after the Demoman.
- Balloon Tower Defense
- Balloon Tower Defense 5 has a monkey engineer which creates a Sentry Gun similar to the level 1 Sentry Gun in TF2. The app icon also features a monkey in a helmet doing a salute, similar to what the Soldier does in TF2.

- Champions Online
- Champions Online has an arcade game called "Team Buttress 2", which also includes a 2Fort reference.

- Duke Nukem
- Duke Nukem Forever has a map based on 2Fort, including the bridge and the battlements. The game's ad for 2Forts1Bridge could also be a reference to the second TF2 trailer.
- Dungeon Defenders
- Dungeon Defenders has four Steam exclusive playable "familiars": The Heavy, Engineer, Medic, and Pyro. These item are similar to disconnected floating items in TF2, with each of the characters floating behind the player.

- Erfworld has a character which resembles the Nope.Avi Engineer from TF2.

- Fallout: New Vegas has a hackable computer in game, which contains a screen saying "a Red Spy infiltrating the Blu base."

- The Henry Stickmin games have multiple TF2 references including the Soldier's default Rocket Launcher and an achievement called Kredit 2 Team, a voice line said by the Heavy.
- Hero Academy
- Hero Academy has all the TF2 characters which the player can be in game.

- Joe Danger 2 has TF2 characters able in their game, including the Scout and the Heavy.
- Journey to the Savage Planet
- Journey to the Savage Planet's trailer has a sign which says "this job has worked 0 days without an accident", an obvious reference to TF2.

- Killing Floor feature the Pyro as one of their playable characters in game.

- Left 4 Dead
- Left 4 Dead 2 has multiple TF2 references, including cereal boxes in the game which have the TF2 advertisement on it. The game also has Ellis saying, "this is just like Team Fortress 2!" There are also pictures of the Heavy and Pyro as advertisements.

- Matt Hazard
- Matt Hazard: Bloodbath and Beyond has a level in which the player must fight different enemies based on TF2 classes.
- Minecraft
- As an April Fools joke, Minecraft added a Steve Co store, based on the TF2 Mann Co store. Minecraft also had a splash-text, referencing the Spy.
- Monday Night Combat
- Monday Night Combat contains items/cosmetics which are based on TF2 classes.

- Overwatch
- Pharah, a character from Overwatch, has a voice-line talking about rocket-jumping, something that the Soldier is famously known for.

- Paladins features an Engineer skins for one of their characters, Barik.

- Poker Night at the Inventory features the Heavy as one of the player's opponent.

- Portal 2 features multiple TF2 hats in their Co-Op campaign.

- Roblox features a "Gear" which resembles the Demoman's Stickybomb Launcher.
- Robot Chicken
- Robot Chicken referenced TF2 in one of their sketches.

- In The Sacrifice Comic, Louis has a Heavy figurine displayed.
- Saints Row
- Saints Row 3 has multiple TF2 masks in their game.
- Sam and Max
- Sam and Max episode 3 season 4 references a Blu Dispenser.
- Sonic
- In the Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, you are able to play as 3 TF2 characters: The Pyro, Heavy, and Spy.
- Super Monday Night Combat
- Super Monday Night Combat has TF2 items such as the Soldier and Engineer Uniform, and the Rocket Launcher Skin.
- Surgeon Simulator
- In Surgeon Simulator 2013, there is a level where the player is the Medic, and operates on the Heavy. This is a reference to the Meet the Medic SFM.
- Section 8: Prejudice
- Section 8: Prejudice has an achievement called "use more gun", a line that the Engineer said in the Meet the Engineer SFM.
- Starcraft
- Starcraft 2 has an achievement called "meet the spy", an obvious reference to the Meet the Spy SFM. There is also an achievement that is a reference to Meet the Sniper, called "professionals have standards."
W
- World of Warcraft
- In World of Warcraft, there is a quest in which a goblin pushes the cart while saying, "we must push little cart!" This is a voice line reference to the Heavy.
- Worms
- Worms Reloaded contains TF2 headgear, making the worms look like TF2 classes. The game also included some forts with images of TF2 characters.
