Results
The Wiki team got up to the 128-teams round of the cup-phase. Announcement
Notes
- G-Mang
- G-Mang is our one-allowed "buddy", meaning he is an established competitive player and can't play any of the default competitive classes. He is not included above for this reason but is still available to play.
- DaimoN
- Unknown status
- The Neotank
- Mostly harmless. Freeloader.
- Pilk
- Supposedly dropped, but still plays if necessary.
Ticker
- Things you must do
- Read the competition rules. It is essential that you understand these as best you can. Contact WindPower or Pilk if you need some clarification on any aspect of them.
- Use the nickname during games that you signed up with on the ETF2L website
- Record a demo of every game you play. Make sure to name them in a way that makes sense and uniquely identifies the game.
Points of order
Avatar
During official matches, use the team's logo as avatar.
Demos/screenshots
- Everyone must record POV demos. Please read the Wiki's page on the subject, or install and configure P-Rec.
- Regarding screenshots: While only one player (Wind, probably) needs to take a screenshot, please do it if you remember to. Redundancy never hurts. Screenshots needed:
- Screenshot of the scoreboard when both teams are in place
- Screenshot of the
status
command when both teams are in place (open the console, typestatus
, then typescreenshot
) - Screenshot of each round end ("TeamName wins") like this one
Buddy
We are allowed one player, called a Buddy, who is an established competitive player in our team. They are not allowed to play any of the original competitive classes (Medic, Sniper, Soldier, Demoman, Scout). Done G-Mang has kindly offered to be our buddy. This may be subject to change if anyone has anyone else in mind that can definitely show up at the match times and is also highly qualified.
Mercs
Mercs are temporary players not on our team that we may have to rely on if some of of us aren't available. We are allowed up to two mercs, and three if the other team agrees. We will play this by ear and we should have a couple of people online at the time who could fill in for someone else.
