Hello, CiroBishop!
Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- You can use the button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
- If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User CiroBishop to the file's name.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:CiroBishop/ to the page title when you create the page.
Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

Show Preview
Please make use of the Show preview button. It gives you a preview of the edit you are making, allowing you to perfect your changes before you save the page. You can edit the whole article by clicking the edit button at the top of the page, which is preferable to editing multiple sections consecutively. Ashes (talk) 19:07, 19 July 2014 (PDT)
- Once again, Please use the Show Preview button. All your edits you are doing can easily be done in one single edit and it prevents spamming in the Recent change logs. Thanks. Ashes (talk) 12:56, 30 July 2014 (PDT)
Excuse me... Now I'm using The Show Preview button. Thanks :) CiroBishop (talk) 13:28, 30 July 2014 (PDT)CiroBishop
Hello.
I casually stumbled onto your profile, and when I read your description I thought "This guy has to be 18 or 20 years old..." but when I saw 14 I got really impressed. I'm 14, I live in Argentina, and I'm a Spanish translator. I do this because it's kinda sad when people don't have many articles to read in their languages, and it's really amazing watching other people doing the same. There aren't many persons in this screwed world as you buddy, and I really admire you. Hope you can make your dreams and goals true. Ci vediamo, amico! Maxijabase (talk) 15:07, 26 August 2015 (PDT)
Wow! Just...wow! I didn't think someone could like me so much, thank you! This message really encouraged me! I hope you will have a nice future, too! And keep doing the nice work, too! Thanks again! CiroBishop (talk) 15:30, 26 August 2015 (PDT)
Your translations
Ohai there, I just noticed your translation Gold Digger/it and fixed some mistakes in it. Please note the following tips apply to your other articles as well. Please fix the mistakes there as well:
- Don't forget to translate the class link inside the infobox.
- Don't forget to localize the link to the update page. As I don't speak Italian, I just used
{{update link}}
while you can link manually as well. - Don't forget to translate the
level
anditem-description
parameters of the infobox. Make sure to use the official translations of the items. You can find those official translations in the localization files or on the Steam Translation Server (STS), the latter being updated pretty quickly. - In the
{{Quotation}}
template, just include the translation, you don't need to reference the English text there. If a sound used has no localized version, add theen-sound=yes
parameter. - Don't forget to translate the section titles.
- Don't forget to localize the update link in the update history as well.
- Note for future translations: I'd recommend you using
{{item name}}
and{{item link}}
to automatically take the newest item names from the dictionary.
If you want to translate item (set) articles more easily, you can take a look at my WikiTranslator.
If you have any further questions, you can reply here, add me on Steam or join the IRC. Have a nice day ;)

Oh, ok, nice! May I know how I change the items that aren't translated in their Italian Page? And where do I put the Update Template? I got the other tips, anyway, thanks! Have a nice day, too! ;D CiroBishop (talk) 10:57, 27 August 2015 (PDT)
- 1. I don't quite get your first point: What "items" are you referring to? The names displayed via the
{{item name}}
template? - 2. You may use the
{{Update link}}
template when you want the localized update name to be automatically displayed. The localized name has to be in the dictionary. - { TidB | t | c | wt } 11:04, 27 August 2015 (PDT)
Oh, ok, nevermind for the first thing, then, I got it! Thanks! :3 CiroBishop (talk) 11:06, 27 August 2015 (PDT)
