Operation Holographic Harvest is a community Mann vs Machine tour organized and hosted by Potato's Custom MvM Servers. A public beta for the tour began on October 10, 2022, with a scheduled full launch date of October 27, 2022, and scheduled end date of December 1, 2022.

On October 10, 2022, Operation Holographic Harvest went into public beta, with 23 missions spread across 16 maps, including Halloween-themed reskins of official maps, such as Decay and Madhattan, reskins of Decoy and Mannhattan, respectively, as well as returning maps from previous campaigns. Several missions were added during the beta period, bringing the total to 29 missions spread across 17 maps.

This event has four medals up for grabs: one as a reward for completion of the tour, and three for donations to a charity drive benefiting The Rainforest Trust.

Clearing any eight missions during the campaign earns the player the Haunted Scrap Canteen medal. In addition, players can donate varying amounts through item or monetary donations to receive donor medals. Donating at least 5 USD to the charity drive earns the player the Carbon Compassion medal, donating at least 15 USD earns the player the Zebra Zirconia medal in addition to the previous medal, and donating at least 25 USD earns the player the Lahsuniya Ratna medal in addition to the previous medals.

The Haunted Scrap Canteen player medal reuses the model for the Rust Starter canteen medal from Operation Canteen Crasher, while the remaining medals reuse models from Operation Madness vs Machines; the Burnished Beryl, Tempered Tourmaline, and Royal Rhodonite, respectively.

All four medals initially drop with unique paint configurations: the Haunted Scrap Canteen drops with a saturated purple color, similar to the Haunted Metal Scrap, and the Carbon Compassion drops with a khaki brown color on RED team, and a dark shade of green on BLU team; all of which are special colors not otherwise available in-game. The Zebra Zirconia medal is painted A Distinctive Lack of Hue on RED team, and An Extraordinary Abundance of Tinge on BLU team, while the Lahsuniya Ratna medal is painted Mann Co. Orange on RED team, and A Distinctive Lack of Hue on BLU team.

The Haunted Scrap Canteen was contributed to the Steam Workshop by Colteh, Rev, Swordstone, Wave, Nuke, Kratos, Benoist3012, Pelipoika, sigsegv, Hyperion, Hydrogen, sedisocks, Sntr, NeoDement, Star Bright, and interrobang.

The Carbon Compassion, Zebra Zirconia, and Lahsuniya Ratna were contributed to the Steam Workshop by NeoDement, Sntr, Erikku, sigsegv, Jakapoa, Pelipoika, interrobang, Mayor Rev, Z-Ben, kratos, Nuke, Hydrogen, Hyperion, Potato's MvM Server, DaanBox, Swordstone, and Geel.

Genuine Holographic Harvest Haunted Scrap Canteen 2022 Level 1 Community Medal At first glance, this may seem like an ordinary canteen that has seen better days. Once picked up, it becomes clear that something truly sinister has been entombed behind those welds. It's probably for the best that this thing is rusted shut. Over the past several years we've been quietly smuggling three zebras a week to Colombia. Why did we do it? Why not! They'll be fine. Awarded to donors of the Holographic Harvest charity drive! Genuine Holographic Harvest Lahsuniya Ratna 2022 Level 1 Community Medal Tigers are some of the most feared animals in the wild and let's face it, you probably wouldn't last long in a fight with one. Don't worry though because you can do plenty of things a tiger can't, like show all your friends this very cool gem! Awarded to donors of the Holographic Harvest charity drive!
