What's in the Team Fortress 2 Soundtrack Box? is an action item for all classes. It is represented by a a purple gift box with lime polka dots tied with a fuchsia ribbon, with a Description Tag with a question mark attached to the ribbon's bow.

The box is given to players who purchase Fight Songs: The Music of Team Fortress 2, the Team Fortress 2 official soundtrack. The soundtrack comes with a download code, which awards the box upon redemption.

It became usable after the April 20, 2017 Patch. When used, the player receives a Audio File in Genuine quality.

Team Fortress 2 Soundtrack Boxes distributed after the June 29, 2023 item schema update are untradable, issuing untradable and uncraftable Audio Files when opened. Soundtrack Boxes distributed prior to the item schema update remain tradable, and may be listed on the Steam Community Market.
