The Dalokohs Bar can be consumed by pressing either the primary fire or taunt key (default keys: Mouse1 and G, respectively). When eaten by the Heavy, it temporarily increases the user's maximum health by 50 for 30 seconds, and gradually replenishes an amount equal to 100 health over a period of four seconds. To be more specific, each quarter of the four second duration, it adds 25 maximum health to the user, then heals the user 25 health, but does not add the +25 maximum health if the user is already at 350 maximum health or more. While the Heavy is eating, he makes , and the player is forced into third-person view. As eating the Dalokohs Bar is considered a taunt, it cannot be consumed in instances where taunts cannot be used, such as when the player is underwater. Use of the Dalokohs Bar when Crit-boosted has no additional benefits.

Players can use the alternate fire key to drop the Dalokohs Bar onto the floor. A dropped Dalokohs Bar appears on a rotating plate and acts as a small Medkit that can be picked up by both allies and enemies. The Heavy cannot use his own dropped Dalokohs Bar to heal himself; picking up a dropped Dalokohs Bar will simply reset the cooldown timer. A dropped Dalokohs Bar from another Heavy, whether friend or foe, can only be used to restore health and will not reset the cooldown timer. It is not possible to have two Dalokohs Bars dropped on the floor at the same time; the oldest will simply disappear as soon as the second one is launched.

The recharge time for the Dalokohs Bar is approximately 10 seconds. The Heavy can instantly recharge the Dalokohs Bar by visiting a Resupply cabinet, picking up his own thrown Dalokohs Bar, or by collecting any health pickup while at full health. The recharge timer begins as soon as the Dalokohs Bar is consumed or dropped. Should the Heavy be killed while holding the Dalokohs Bar, it will be dropped as a collectible that restores 50 health to all classes but the Scout, who is healed for 75 health.

That was delicious!
The Heavy on quality chocolates

The Dalokohs Bar, pronounced ʻDah-lock-ussʻ (CA, US), or ʻDah-lock-ossʻ (AU, IN, NZ, UK etc.), is a community-created secondary weapon for the Heavy. It is a large, partially unwrapped, segmented chocolate bar with the Team Fortress logo imprinted on each piece. The white-and-team-colored wrapper proclaims "Dalokohs, it's delicious!", but it is cut off by the slightly unwrapped wrapper exposing the chocolate.

While the Heavy is eating, he makes loud eating sounds, and the player is forced into third-person view. As eating the Dalokohs Bar is considered a taunt, it cannot be consumed in instances where taunts cannot be used, such as when the player is underwater. Use of the Dalokohs Bar when Crit-boosted has no additional benefits.

Players can use the alt-fire key (default key: Mouse2) to drop the Dalokohs Bar onto the floor. A dropped Dalokohs Bar appears on a rotating plate and acts as a small Health kit that can be picked up by both allies and enemies. The Heavy cannot use his own dropped Dalokohs Bar to heal himself; picking up a dropped Dalokohs Bar simply resets the cooldown timer. A dropped Dalokohs Bar from another Heavy, whether friend or foe, can only be used to restore health and does not reset the cooldown timer. It is not possible to have two Dalokohs Bars dropped on the floor at the same time; the oldest one simply disappears as soon as the second one is launched.

Should the Heavy be killed while holding the Dalokohs Bar, the ammo pack that he drops upon death instead restores 50 health for all classes but the Scout, who is healed for 75 health. The Dalokohs Bar weapon itself can be collected by other Heavies via weapon switching.
