远古战士（Primeval Warrior）是一件全兵种通用的饰品。其外形是一个戴在角色胸前的印有兵种标志的铂金制长方形徽章。
作为 Valve 的第119次更新庆祝活动的一部分。远古战士将会奖励给那些在世界标准时间 2007 年 9 月 17 日 00：00 至 2007 10 月 9 日 23：59（即游戏正式发售前）首次玩《军团要塞 2》测试版的玩家。
更新历史
- 远古战士被添加进游戏中。
- 将2007年10月10日之前的资深将士徽章修改为远古战士徽章。
- 现在此类徽章将以格林尼治标准时间来显示时间。
- [未记载] 为此类物品增加了社区贡献的物品描述。
- 现在可以对此类徽章使用名称标签了。
注释
- 一开始，参加测试版的玩家在徽章分发时并没有获得任何徽章，因为 Valve 忘记将发布前的测试版游戏也纳入他们的分发范围内，尽管这一点很快就得到了修正，因此这些玩家则得到了资深将士徽章。可以从2010年5月5日补丁添加了远古战士后，对符合条件的原始徽章进行了更改中可以看出。
- Robin Walker 的远古战士上显示的日期是 1998 年 8 月 23 日。[1]该日期是基于雷神之锤制作的最初的“军团要塞”版本的 2 岁生日，而不是以前大家所猜测的 Robin Walker 的获得徽章的时间。而且由于格林威治时间与美国东部时间转换，会出现徽章上的日期与实际日期有 1 天的偏差。有趣的是，虽然这不是Robin Walker 被 Valve 的雇佣日期，但后者比前者还晚两年加一天。
