== New York ==

I personally asked some people who have been to New York and Boston, as well as a couple of Bostonians. Not a single one of them said he was from Boston based on his accent, and all of them said New York.

Someone pointed out that all the classes accents are faked based on stereotypes. Well, someone got their stereotypes mixed up, and now we have a Bostonian with a New York accent.

I would agree that the Bios might not be Cannon, but there are several references to him being from Boston, most notable the achievement the year to remember which it the the year that  the Boston Red Sox one the world series. Another being his you of the term "frickin" which is used by Bostonian and could be a way of chaining the truly Bostonian term "wicked" to be more understanding to people outside of New England. The finale  reference that I can think of off the top of my head would be in his "meet the..." video his accent is nasally which I would say is more Bostonian then a New York accent.[[User:Schrodingerscat|Schrodingerscat]] 03:52, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Irrelevent, irrelevent, and not entirely true. The references to him being from Boston are not the point. He ''is'' from Boston, Valve said so, and what they say goes. The problem here is the fact that his accent is that of a New Yorker, not a Bostonian.

Currently, an infinity sign is listed as the "ammo carried" (for the ball). Since the only number for the actual ammo sign is 1 or 0, should it be listed as one? Also, since its not technically ammo, should it just say N/A as well?

I think that the ball should count as Ammo Loaded, but not Ammo Carried, because as previously stated, it does recharge on its own, unlike most other weapons, which to replenish the Ammo Carried requires an ammo crate or a resupply cabniet. [[User:DJNerd|DJNerd]] 14:23, 4 July 2011 (PDT)

:No, all the weapons are automatic, hold the trigger down and they will keep firing until all the ammo in the weapon is used up, then depending on the reload (if there is one), the user reloads and continues to fire. (The exceptions are the Scattergun, Shotgun, Frontier Justice, and Family Business, if the fire button is held, only one round is loaded, then fired.) October 24, 2024 Patch and BLU Scout pants

Assuming that the pants fix is permanent, should a text string template be made with default text for the undoubtedly countless instances in items, media, etc, where BLU Scout will have the old RED pants? I.e. "Since the October 24, 2024 Patch fixing a longstanding bug since release, the BLU Scout's pants are colored incorrectly"--Leaderboard class allclass.png Akolyth (talk) 05:49, 25 October 2024 (UTC)

I don't think it's worth noting and it would get incredibly repetitive to put on basically everything. We don't note that any pre-Meet the Spy Sniper appearances are missing the cut on his cheek. The plan is to only note this on cosmetic items which clash with the new pants, but only doing so after the next 2 patches. This is to give time to the creators of the cosmetic items to actually fix it due to the out-of-the-BLU nature of the change. Of course this would be assuming that this patch is a reasonable time away and not this evening.
