远古战士徽章是一件属于其它类物品的徽章，是 Valve 在庆祝第119次更新所放出的奖励性物品。其外形是一件印有兵种标志的长方形铂金徽章，和绅士的服务勋章造型有所不同。远古战士徽章是奖励给那些在军团要塞2正式发售以前，在军团要塞2测试版进行过游戏的玩家。

2010年5月7日补丁

  • 徽章上显示的时间日期得到修正。

2010年11月19日补丁

  • 可以用名称标签为徽章更改名字。

细枝末节

  • 这件徽章是奖励给那些在2007年9月17号零点至2007年10月9号23点59分这段时间内首次在军团要塞2测试版进行过游戏的玩家。
  • 这枚徽章与其他在119次更新放出的徽章有两个不同之处:
    • 第一点是其双色调的配色方案。这枚徽章和白发老兵徽章一样，徽章背面与表面使用了2种不同的颜色，而宝藏探险家徽章和雇佣兵徽章则是使用单一色调。
    • 第二点，与其他3个徽章不同，远古战士徽章没有"1"、"2"、"3"的数字印记，而是拥有一个字母"B"的印记，意思为"Beta"（测试）。
  • 由于这枚徽章是由铂金制成的，所以看起来带有银色金属光泽。
  • 最初，那些在测试期间进行过游戏的玩家只拿到了白发老兵徽章。后来追加了这个远古战士徽章后，那些玩家的白发老兵徽章都被换成了远古战士徽章。
  • 罗宾沃克的远古战士徽章上面所显示的日期是：1998年8月23号。[1]这日期是基于雷神之锤制作的最初的军团要塞版本的2岁生日，而不是以前大家所猜测的罗宾沃克获得徽章的时间。徽章上的时间与实际时间有1天的差异是由于格林威治时间与美国东部时间互相转换后所造成。当然，这也不是罗宾沃克被 Valve 雇佣的时间，但小小的透露一下，是这2年中的其中一天。
