— The Scout on solid gold frying pans
|
” |
The Golden Frying Pan is a melee weapon for all classes. It is an Australium-plated Frying Pan.
The weapon acts identically to the default melee weapon of each class, sharing the same statistics and abilities. As such, Spies can perform backstabs and Engineers can upgrade and repair their buildings. Its distinguishing feature, however, is that enemies killed by it will turn into motionless golden statues of pure Australium instead of ragdolls, a trait shared with the Golden Wrench and the Saxxy. This gold effect applies to jiggle bones which freeze in place. Upon the drop of a Golden Frying Pan, there is a global announcement over all active updated TF2 clients, similar to the Something Special For Someone Special. All Golden Pans drop as strange and have a random Professional Killstreak Kit applied to them.
