Revision as of 10:19, 20 September 2015
Scream Fortress 2014 was a major update that featured a carnival operated by Merasmus. It introduced bumper cars as the post-round activity, featuring three separate tracks/modes. It is the sixth Scream Fortress update. All players who login to Team Fortress 2 after downloading the update will receive a Halloween Gift Cauldron, which contains three random Scream Fortress 2014 items, one of these items will always be both Strange and Haunted quality.
The update brought 50 new cosmetics, 6 achievements, the Halloween event map Carnival of Carnage as well as the Kritz or Treat Canteen and the Necro Smasher: an all-class (sans Spy) melee reskin.
The update also brought the introduction to the Strange Haunted quality cosmetics. All Strange Haunted quality items include 2 strange parts -- "Carnival Games Won" and "Carnival Underworld Kills" (players knocked off the track). Regular Kills can only be counted in the Carnival of Carnage.
