The Pile of Curses is a craftable item that was introduced in the October 26, 2012 Patch. The Pile of Curses is crafted by combining 7 Voodoo-Cursed Items.
When opened, it displays a 5 second countdown and plays sounds effects; similar to that of a Mann Co. Supply Crate. It then awards the player one of the 9 playable class' Voodoo-Cursed Souls, sometimes with an Eerie Crate or a Halloween Spell. Any souls received have a chance of bearing the Haunted quality.
The item was removed following its expiration date of November 12, 2014.
