Festive Winter Crates were a tool item released in the December 10, 2010 Patch, which dropped like regular crates. They appeared as a Mann Co. Supply Crate decorated with snow and a wreath made of holly.

This crate could not be opened with the normal Mann Co. Supply Crate Key. Instead it required a Festive Winter Crate Key purchased from the Mann Co. Store that was released in conjunction with the Australian Christmas event, or a Stocking Stuffer Key. They expired on December 31, 2010, at which point they were removed from user's backpacks.
