The Backpack Expander is a tool which, when used, grants an extra hundred slots (two pages) to the user's backpack, up to a maximum of one thousand slots (twenty pages).

Trivia

  • The item image shows a backpack with a collection of different Team Fortress 2 items inside, including the Sandman, 3 Huntsman arrows, a Heavy Duty Rag, 2 Keys, and a Description Tag. (Note that the Backpack Expander does not, in and of itself, grant any additional items.)
