Operation Oil Spill is an Intermediate Mann vs. Machine operation featuring six missions on three maps. It was introduced in the October 9, 2012 Patch, together with Operation Gear Grinder. Upon the completion of the first mission, the Operation Oil Spill Badge is awarded.

Available loot

Completing one of the missions in this operation in a Tour of Duty will reward the player with a random item from the random drop pool. Upon completion of the whole operation, the player receives the regular loot upon completion of a mission, but is also guaranteed to receive a Rust Botkiller weapon or a rare Blood Botkiller weapon.
