Beat Me Up, Scotty
Beat Me Up, Scotty
Use a critical swing with the Eyelander to kill 5 enemy players.
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
How to obtain: The Chargin' Targe will grant critical melee hits on a full charge. Alternate methods of obtaining guaranteed critical hits include the Kritzkrieg ÜberCharge, securing the enemy Intelligence, or First Blood in Arena.

Blind Fire
Blind Fire
Destroy an Engineer building that you can't see with a direct hit from your Grenade Launcher.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: Hide behind cover to safely lob grenades at enemy buildings. Aim carefully, as you cannot bounce grenades off walls to accomplish this.

Bloody Merry
Bloody Merry
Provide an enemy player with a freeze cam of your smiling face.
Difficulty: Very Easy
How to obtain: Taunt with your Grenade Launcher or Loch-n-Load equipped immediately upon killing an enemy.

Brainspotting
Brainspotting
Decapitate 50 enemy players.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: Equip the Eyelander, Scotsman's Skullcutter, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, or Claidheamh Mòr to decapitate enemies. The Chargin' Targe allows you quickly close the gap against distant enemies. When using the Eyelander or Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, try to get decapitations in strings; each head taken will boost your health and speed, making the next kill easier.

Bravehurt
Bravehurt
Kill 25 players defending a capture point or cart.
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
How to obtain: When your team is capturing a point, fire grenades at nearby defenders and lay Stickybombs to prevent reinforcements from interfering.

Caber Toss
Caber Toss
Bounce an enemy into the air and kill them before they land.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: Any of the Demoman's explosive weapons can be used to send an enemy into the air. Before your foe hits the ground, finish him off with a well-placed grenade or Stickybomb.

Cry Some Moor!
Cry Some Moor!
Destroy 50 buildings.
Difficulty: Easy
How to obtain: The Demoman excels at building destruction. Coordinate with friendly Medics to take out problematic Sentry Guns. It is recommended to equip either the Stickybomb Launcher or Scottish Resistance, as detonating multiple Stickybombs at once can instantly destroy any building.

Double Mauled Scotch
Double Mauled Scotch
Kill 2 people in a single sticky jump.
Difficulty: Medium-Hard
How to obtain: Sticky jump above a group of enemies and rapidly fire your projectiles at them. Any enemies killed by Stickybombs detonated in the same explosion as your jump will count towards this achievement.

Glasg0wned
Glasg0wned
Kill 25 Scouts and Pyros with the Grenade Launcher.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: Both of these classes have the advantage over you at closer ranges. Pyros can use the compression blast to reflect your grenades back at you, while Scouts have enough speed to easily dodge your grenades. Use prediction and good aim to pick them off at a distance.

He Who Celt It
He Who Celt It
Use the Sticky Launcher to kill an enemy player via environmental damage.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: When blasting an enemy into the air with a Stickybomb, try to make sure that they will either die from the resulting fall damage or fly into an environmental hazard such as a bottomless pit.

Highland Fling
Highland Fling
Sticky jump a really long way...
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
How to obtain: The achievement is based on the horizontal distance covered by your Sticky jump, so attempt this on maps with open areas, such as Badlands, Pipeline, and Well. It will be easier to use two Stickybombs, or you might not go far enough. The estimated length you need to travel can be measured by the distance from the first BLU spawn on Badwater Basin to the first capture point. While attempting this will generally leave you near death, if not dead, the Sticky Jumper can be used to nullify self-damage and allow you to use three or more stickies to safely perform the jump.

Kilt in Action
Kilt in Action
Kill 500 enemy Soldiers.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: Always use your class advantages to engage Soldiers on your own terms. Deny them a direct line of sight, lay sticky traps to halt their progress, and bounce grenades around corners. If you have the Chargin' Targe equipped, try to engage a Soldier in close quarters combat; the Rocket Launcher will damage the Soldier as well as deal less damage to you, thanks to the Targe's explosive damage resistance. The Ullapool Caber can also virtually guarantee a kill against a Soldier if you can manage to get at least one hit in.

Laddy Macdeth
Laddy Macdeth
Kill 50 enemies with direct hits from the Grenade Launcher.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: This achievement will take some time, but will eventually happen naturally through skilled play. Use good aim, prediction, and a bit of luck to land those direct hits, taking into the account the arced trajectory of your grenades. The Loch-n-Load can increase the chances of contact grenades killing enemies due to the higher damage, and the faster travel speed can give enemies less time to react as well.

Left 4 Heads
Left 4 Heads
Decapitate 4 players with only 10 seconds between each kill.
Difficulty: Hard
How to obtain: Using the Eyelander, Scotsman’s Skullcutter, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, or Claidheamh Mòr, try to engage multiple enemies at once in cramped quarters. Pair your melee weapon with the Chargin’ Targe in order to reach new targets before the ten seconds expire. Having a Medic assist you with an ÜberCharge can be beneficial; the Medi Gun will increase your survivability, especially in crowds, while the Kritzkrieg will allow you to land successive Critical hits without using the Targe. The Scotsman's Skullcutter in particular can assist in this achievement due to its ability to land random Critical hits as well as its higher base damage.

Loch Ness Bombster
Loch Ness Bombster
Kill an enemy player with stickybombs within 5 seconds of them teleporting.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: The easiest way to get this achievement is to lay stickybombs at an enemy Teleporter Exit. Wait for someone to use the Teleporter, then detonate your sticky trap. Target enemies who have the telltale glow underneath their feet, and use that to determine whether or not a Teleporter is nearby.

Pipebagger
Pipebagger
Kill at least three players with a single detonation of stickybombs.
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
How to obtain: Place stickybombs at places where enemies tend to gather, such as active control points, the Payload cart, or the setup gate at the beginning of a round. A Medic assisting you with the Kritzkrieg may make this achievement easier, as just one Critical stickybomb can potentially kill three players or more.

Robbed Royal
Robbed Royal
Destroy 100 enemy stickybombs with the Scottish Resistance.
Difficulty: Easy
How to obtain: Try predicting where enemy Demomen would place sticky traps so that you can toss your bombs in to destroy them. If enemy stickybombs are placed out in the open, destroy them with impunity. Remember that you can use just one or two of your bombs to destroy many of the enemy’s.

Scotch Guard
Scotch Guard
Kill 3 enemies capping or pushing a cart in a single stickybomb detonation 3 separate times.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: Try to place sticky traps in innocuous locations where they won’t immediately be spotted, and detonate them once enough players push the cart into your trap. When defending the cart itself, it is best to only start laying stickybombs after the enemy starts to push it, as players will often be reluctant to approach a cart that’s already surrounded by your stickies.

Scotch Tap
Scotch Tap
Glory in the slaughter of your enemies using the Eyelander.
Difficulty: Medium-Hard
How to obtain: For this achievement, you will need to equip the Eyelander and perform the taunt on an enemy. Try to find relatively unaware enemies to attempt this on, such as a scoped Sniper, as the taunt does take a considerable amount of time to complete. This is one of the quieter taunts in the game, so it can be attempted multiple times on the same target if you miss.

Second Eye
Second Eye
Provide an enemy player with a freeze cam of you shaking your rump.
Difficulty: Very Easy
How to obtain: Upon killing an enemy, taunt with the Scottish Resistance equipped.

Shorn Connery
Shorn Connery
Decapitate a cloaked Spy.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: You may incidentally see a cloaked Spy that bumps into either you or your teammates. When this happens, take out your Eyelander, Scotsman’s Skullcutter, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, or Claidheamh Mòr and chase the Spy down. If you know a Spy is nearby, randomly swinging your weapon a few times can't hurt, either. Use your weapon's longer melee range to check corners and other less-traversed spaces where Spies may be hiding.

Slammy Slayvis Woundya
Slammy Slayvis Woundya
Decapitate an enemy Soldier who is brandishing the Equalizer.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: A Soldier wielding the Equalizer is already bound to be damaged, meaning he or she will likely out-damage you in melee combat. The Eyelander, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker or Claidheamh Mòr are recommended over the Scotsman’s Skullcutter, as the reduced speed penalty will allow the Soldier to easily outmaneuver you. Make use of your weapon’s longer melee range to avoid being hit. If the Soldier tries to flee, use the Chargin’ Targe to chase that player down if you have it equipped. This achievement should happen eventually in Medieval Mode. Eventually, you will kill a Soldier with the Equalizer.

Something Stickied This Way Comes
Something Stickied This Way Comes
Kill 30 players with air burst stickybombs.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: Keep in mind that stickybombs cannot be detonated for roughly a second after being fired. The normal Stick bomb Launcher is recommended over the Scottish Resistance for this achievement, as the longer bomb arm time may cause trouble when trying to detonate a sticky early. To kill an enemy using air burst stickybombs, aim a little above them so that the sticky doesn’t touch the floor before it is detonated. Charged, long range stickybombs can be used to “snipe” targets that are far away.

Spynal Tap
Spynal Tap
Kill 20 Spies within 5 seconds of them sapping a friendly building.
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
How to obtain: Guard friendly buildings by placing stickybombs around them. When you hear the notification that indicates when an Engineer’s buildings are being sapped, detonate your stickies and you will hopefully catch the Spy in the explosion. The Scottish Resistance in particular allows you to selectively detonate groups of stickies, as well as guard multiple building nests simultaneously. If you haven’t laid any stickies but see a Spy sap a building, use the Grenade Launcher or chase after the Spy with your melee weapon.

Sticky Thump
Sticky Thump
Using the Scottish Resistance, kill 3 players in separate explosions without placing new stickybombs.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: This achievement will require at least two individual sticky traps to be laid. The kills accumulated by detonating them must equal three or more. If you fire a sticky after at least one kill has been obtained, progress towards this achievement will reset. Small, narrow areas that are busy with player traffic, such as the tunnels on Dustbowl, provide many chances to set multiple traps.

Tam O'Shatter
Tam O'Shatter
Destroy 5 enemy Engineer buildings during a single ÜberCharge from a Medic.
Difficulty: Hard
How to obtain: A group of Engineer buildings generally only consist of a Sentry Gun, a Dispenser, and maybe a Teleporter Exit. While the Demoman is excellent at destroying buildings, the difficult part of this achievement will be finding the required five buildings in the eight seconds an ÜberCharge is active. Aggressively approach these buildings, laying multiple stickies around them. Use the fact that stickybombs can be fired and armed before you are ÜberCharged to aid against the time constraint of the achievement. It will take three stickybombs at most to destroy any building that is not shielded by the Wrangler. Rather than waste time reloading the Stickybomb Launcher switch to your Grenade Launcher to finish off any remaining buildings. Try to find a friendly Medic who is attempting to obtain the related achievement, “Medical Breakthrough,” and is willing to aid you.

Tartan Spartan
Tartan Spartan
Do 1 million points of total blast damage.
Difficulty: Easy
How to obtain: This is a long grinding achievement that will be obtained over time. All of the Demoman’s projectile-based weapons (Grenade Launcher, Stickybomb Launcher, Scottish Resistance, and Loch-n-Load) deal blast damage. Explosive damage dealt by detonating the Ullapool Caber also count towards this achievement. An estimated 45-55 hours of normal gameplay as Demoman should get you this achievement, or even shorter for expert players.

The Argyle Sap
The Argyle Sap
Blow up an Engineer, his sentry gun, and his dispenser with a single stickybomb detonation.
Difficulty: Easy
How to obtain: Play on maps where Engineers are commonly deployed to defend areas, such as 2Fort and Dustbowl. When you encounter an Engineer guarding a nest, lay stickybombs around the area, making sure to cover both the required buildings and the Engineer’s location. It will take a maximum of three or four stickies to destroy any one building. Avoid attempting this on Engineers with the Wrangler equipped; a shielded Sentry Gun may take up to six stickies to destroy, and as a result you may kill the Engineer and Dispenser but not the Sentry Gun. If needed, have a Medic ÜberCharge you to allow for a safe approach.

The High Road
The High Road
Sticky jump onto a cap point and capture it.
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
How to obtain: It will be easier to attempt this on standard Control Point maps, since their capture times are significantly faster. Aim for either lightly guarded points, such as the spires on Badlands, or points that are captured extremely quickly, such as the last point of Granary or Well. Because you must be on the point for the entire duration of the capture, equipping the Pain Train and having teammates assist you are strongly recommended.

There Can Be Only One
There Can Be Only One
Decapitate your nemesis.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: Once dominated by an enemy player, be on the lookout for the large Revenge icon over your nemesis' head. Get close to and kill your nemesis with either the Eyelander, Scotsman’s Skullcutter, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, or Claidheamh Mòr. Sticky jumping or using the Chargin’ Targe will greatly aid in closing the gap between you and your nemesis.

The Scottish Play
The Scottish Play
Get a melee kill while sticky jumping.
Difficulty: Hard
How to obtain: This feat can be performed either just as you land on an enemy’s head or when colliding with another player in midair. Remember that you can air strafe during a sticky jump in order to reach a moving target. Both methods will require decent midair control, reaction time, and a good sense of prediction. While this achievement can be done with any melee weapon, the extended range offered by the Eyelander, Scotsman's Skullcutter, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker or Claidheamh Mòr may make it slightly easier. Furthermore, the Ullapool Caber can increase the chances of a kill via its explosive damage.

The Targe Charge
The Targe Charge
Charge and kill someone with your shield bash.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: The Chargin’ Targe will deal 40-50 damage when colliding with an enemy at the end of a charge, as well as an additional 10 damage for each head acquired when wielding the Eyelander or Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, up to five. You will not be able to kill any class with over 100 health, so make sure to target enemies that are already injured. An enemy that is retreating is a good indicator of low health, so try to chase down such players. While the Claidheamh Mòr cannot cause your charge to deal increased damage via collecting heads, its longer charge duration can give allow you to charge enemies from farther away.

The Stickening
The Stickening
Kill 3 Heavies from full health with a single stickybomb detonation.
Difficulty: Medium
How to obtain: A Heavy in a contested area will rarely be at full health unless accompanied by a Medic, so you will likely have to catch him by surprise elsewhere. Because the Heavy’s weaponry is effective at destroying your stickybombs, make sure to place them in concealed or unexpected locations, such as on roofs, around corners, or near the enemy spawn room. If you see an enemy Heavy who is ÜberCharged, try to lay at least five stickies at his or her feet, detonating them once the Heavy becomes vulnerable again. Placing stickybombs in choke-points such as the vents in Turbine also work nicely.

Three Times a Laddy
Three Times a Laddy
Dominate three Engineers.
Difficulty: Easy
How to obtain: A Demoman can often wipe out an Engineer and any nearby buildings with a single detonation of stickybombs. Use your indirect fire capabilities to avoid directly facing Sentry Guns unless you are ÜberCharged. If the Engineer has the Wrangler equipped, try to kill the Engineer first, then focus on the Sentry while it is powered down. Beware that an Engineer does have better close-combat weapons than you; Revenge Crits from the Frontier Justice can end your attempts at domination very quickly. For more information on how to effectively fight Engineers, see the article on Demoman match-ups.

Well Plaid!
Well Plaid!
Kill 10 enemies while assisting or being assisted by another Demoman.
Difficulty: Easy
How to obtain: Coordinate with friendly Demomen to destroy the same targets. The large splash damage of your explosive weaponry will aid in this.
