The Backpack Expander is a tool. When used, it will grant 100 extra slots (two full pages) to the user's backpack. Multiple expanders can be used by the same player but only up to a maximum of one thousand slots, or twenty pages.

Bugs
- The autosort function will not work when a user has more than 520 items.
Trivia
- The item image shows a backpack with a collection of different Team Fortress 2 items inside, including the Sandman, three Huntsman arrows, a Heavy Duty Rag, two Keys, and a Description Tag. These items are purely for decoration, and are not granted on using the item.
