The Holiday Punch is a community-created melee weapon for the Heavy. It is a large pair of team-colored knitted mittens, featuring a decorative snowflake woven into the back.
This weapon functions similarly to the Fists except for an additional backstab-like mechanic. The weapon will always crit from behind in an arc similar to that of the Backburner's (approximately 90 degrees). Any hits from this weapon that strike targets in the back will do no damage but will cause victims to burst into laughter, leaving them temporarily defenseless. Those under the effects of an ÜberCharge can be forced to laugh. Victims who are also wearing the Holiday Punch will always be forced to laugh when hit, regardless of the damage or angle of the hit. Mini-crits will not cause opponents to laugh. Laughing will only occur if the victim is in a position where they would normally be able to taunt. This means that critical hits do not affect disguised or cloaked Spies in any way, or victims who are underwater or in the air.
Taunting with the Holiday Punch equipped will perform the Showdown taunt. Because the showdown has the potential to perform a taunt kill, a player can incapacitate an enemy with a critical punch, and then taunt-kill him with the Showdown before he finishes laughing
The Holiday Punch was contributed to game via the Steam Workshop, under the name "Masculine Mittens".

Unused content
- An unused texture exists within the GCFs for this weapon; it bears a similar design to the Officer's Ushanka.
- This weapon has an unused kill icon.
Bugs
- If a player has initiated the High Five taunt, landing a critical hit on that player from the front with the Holiday Punch will cause the Heavy and his victim to High Five.
- The same will happen for two enemies if you crit the one facing the one who initiated the High Five.
- The hit sound during the draw animation will still play despite the gloves not coming in contact with each other. This is due to the weapon sharing the same draw animation as the Killing Gloves of Boxing.
- This item does not glow when crit boosted.
- The Strange Variant counts tickles as times you hit an enemy on the back or with a crit, therefore even if the enemy is already laughing or taunting, the counter will still raise.
Trivia
- Template:W is a drink commonly made during the holiday season.
- The Holiday Punch was first teased on the first day of the Australian Christmas Update 2011, on the bottom left corner of the title image.
