The Heavy has spared no expense in crafting this historic tribute to the mother land. Forged from Soviet iron and inlaid with the remaindered mahogany from Alexander II's favorite chair, each kill is not only for "pride of team," but for the Republic.
— Official Description

The Iron Curtain is a currently unreleased promotional primary weapon for the Heavy. It appears to be a Minigun made partially out of wood which is supposedly crafted by the Heavy himself.

It is awarded to players of Poker Night at the Inventory during a special bonus round.

Trivia

  • The Iron Curtain is canonically Heavy's first Minigun before Sasha. Telltale initially revealed that Heavy would wager Sasha in the bonus round.
  • The name of this weapon is a reference to a quote from British Prime Minster Winston Churchill, in which he said the "Iron Curtain" would divide the Soviet Union's territory from the Western Democracies.
  • The Iron Curtain features the Hammer and Sickle, a communist symbol, often associated with Russia, on its side.
  • The description claims that the Minigun was inlaid with mahogany from Alexander II's favorite chair. Ironically, Alexander II ruled before the Russian Revolution took place, and therefore, was not one of the rulers of Soviet Russia, where the Heavy hails from.
