澳大利亚圣诞节是军团要塞 2 的一项重大更新，发布于2010年12月17日补丁。它变成了第一次将会是年度的圣诞活动。

此更新发布一个新游戏模式，"中世纪模式"，和一张相关的新地图 Degroot Keep。

这个更新将背包道具槽数由 200 个扩大至 300 个，并可籍由购买背包扩充工具道具，每次扩展 100 个道具槽数，扩展上限为 1000 个。

在圣诞期间欢冬补给箱可利用欢冬补给箱钥匙解锁，欢冬补给箱钥匙可在曼恩商店购买，每个 2.49 美元 (大约 17.12 人民币)。

此更新也首次介绍了 Itemtest 地图。

澳大利亚圣诞节的起源

1788 年 12 月 18 日，第一批来到澳洲的移民还不到一年，一个名叫 Nicolas Crowder 的老杀手和其他移民坐船到此，面对眼前的炎热与荒凉，他自勉道“顶住”，后来他独自一人驾船去征服南极。传说他还活着。

每年 12 月 18 日 "Old Nick" 都会回来找出澳大利亚的乖巧的孩子与淘气的孩子，乖孩子会得到最好最棒的礼物，而淘气的孩子会被他带回到南极，在接下来的 12 个月他们都得在 Old Nick 的严厉监视下制作玩具。12 月 17 日，这些礼物会包装好，用雪橇拉到 Old Nick 宅邸，当然他收到的成千上万的帽子和武器有很多重复的，所以每到 12 月 18 日，他会把这些礼物发布到网上，以超低价抛售。“基本上属于白给了！”

欢冬补给箱钥匙		曾经用来打开稀有的欢冬补给箱上的大锁。过了 2010 年 12 月 31 日后变成了一把普通的钥匙。
