Hello, 123rse!

Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
    • You can use the Signature Icon.png button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
  • If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User 123rse to the file's name.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:123rse/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

3456 (talk) 04:54, 3 March 2014 (PST)

Lf400212 (talk) 07:43, 8 March 2014 (PST)

3456 (talk) 06:34, 10 March 2014 (PDT)

  • Basic strategy =
  • Update history =
  • Trivia =
  • Gallery =
  • Related merchandise =
  • See also = 그 외
  • References =

3456 (talk) 16:30, 14 March 2014 (PDT)

Wiki Age User Box

I would recommend using this code for your wiki age user box: {{User Wiki age|year=2017|month=1|day=18}} User Twolfe Signature.png || twolfe's page || twolfe's talk page 07:29, 18 January 2017 (PST) (sorry forgot stamp)

thanks,
I'll summit that good comment.
but, I was not born in yesterday.
I mean.. I started it since 2014 ;)
(Well.. If this joke wasn't fun; then Im sorry.)
sorry about that, looked at your "last updated" date on accidentUser Twolfe Signature.png || twolfe's page || twolfe's talk page 07:29, 18 January 2017 (PST)
You might want to re-add time stamp, I forgot to end the <nowiki> User Twolfe Signature.png || twolfe's page || twolfe's talk page 07:31, 18 January 2017 (PST)
what is 'nowiki'? 3456 (talk) 07:24, 27 May 2017 (PDT)
Late response, but <nowiki> is used to not use templates and other stuff that the wiki automatically converts. For example, if I would type {{item link|Scattergun}} it would show up as Scattergun. If I put it between 2 nowiki tags (like this) it would show up as {{item link|Scattergun}} GrampaSwood (talk) 16:57, 1 June 2019 (UTC)

Notepad++

Hey 123rse,

I often see you make a lot of changes to a page. I'd like to point you to notepad++, it's a simple text editor that allows you to edit the page's source without making tons of edits.

You might also not know about the Show Preview feature, which allows you to see your edits before you make them public. Please use either of these to prevent multiple page edits GrampaSwood (talk) 11:49, 7 July 2019 (UTC)

It's been a while, Grampa! How r ya,

I've been used Notepad++ as u pointed. but it has some disadvantages

1. Paragraphs are not separated, when I pasting it on notepad.
2. Can not share my translating progress with other translators immediately.
3. preview is not allowed.
first one is the big problem to using notepad,
hard to reading that caused low productivity on translating progress.

most of all, 1 page for 1 edit is impossible for all pages, even though I using notepad.
sometimes I haven't noticed some mistakes like link errors or writing misspelled words, even check on preview feature.
huge amount of texts -not like the short pages- can not built by one edit, basically.
they have be to saved, after few sections of translation has been done;
so that able to be share with other translators and prevent the overwraped on translation works immediately.

my contributions under 3 of edits for each pages on today is not quite like 'a lot of changes to a page', I guess.
I think 2-3 of edits on a page is acceptable; Idw why the page should determined by less than 2 of edits.
Imao, Tolerance will be needed by the amount of text on pages. 123rse (talk) 13:36, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
Do you mean they're not separated like on the wiki? Or do you mean that the entire formatting screws up?
I don't think there are any other translators for /ko rn, either way you can use the {{trans}} template to avoid conflicting edits.
You could make your own page on the wiki as an alternative, make it something like User:123rse/test or User:123rse/sandbox. This way you can temporarily paste it in there and use "show preview". Once you're done there, instead of saving the page you can paste it back into Notepad++.
Mistakes and link errors and small edits like that happen to everyone, reading big pages you've just translated is very boring because you already know what's in there. Those edits are fine, but if you go to 5Gorge/ko's edit history you'll see like 24 edits from you. With big pages like that it's better to use notepad++ or a custom page like I described. I used to see you edit some smaller pages 6 or 7 times as well, but most of the time it was 2-4.
GrampaSwood (talk) 09:34, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

make a custom page?
Grampa, you genius! sandbox page gonna cut the edits by 2-4 times! such a good idea never been hit me.
(and you right, there's no korean translator since july; except me. uwu)
now I'm gonna make my own sandbox page and use it.
your advice is a real learning experience for me and you are a big help in my wiking.
(thank you, Grampa!) 123rse (talk) 05:42, 13 July 2019 (UTC)

Economic crisis?

What do you mean by "advocate an editor who might be suffering in economic crisis"?

Moved the conversation here because the other page wasn't in the appropriate topic

HidEprO (talk) 20:03, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

123rse (talk) 13:21, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
다 끝났습니다, 어색한 번역투가 많아서 사실상 번역본을 싹다 지우고 새로 쓴 격이 되버렸네요 @_@;;
123rse (talk) 04:03, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
HidEprO (talk) 16:19, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
123rse (talk) 04:51, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
123rse (talk) 12:45, 6 August 2019 (UTC)

To-do List tables

Hey there.
It seems the To-do tables on your profile are broken - they're showing their contents even when hidden (at least to me). - BrazilianNut (talk) 18:11, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

I didn't even know that was broken :D. thx, BrazilianNut! 123rse (talk) 23:57, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
Now I remember that I wasn't meant to make the 'show/hide' button, that button just shown up itself when I made this table. well, I dunno how to use it or delete it XDDD123rse (talk) 02:09, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

02:55, 29 December 2019 (UTC)

123rse (talk) 03:02, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
