Instead of the standard Pyro, Soldier, Medic, I think we should switch to Scout, Soldier, Heavy. Why I hear you ask? Because It gives a better example of the health range between the classes - Medic is not a great example as he regenerates health nor the Pyro as he is resistant to fire damage.

Another thought is that the viewer gets no understanding of the effects of critical and mini-critical damage in the videos. My suggestion is that the Scout is killed regularly, the Soldier killed with mini-critical enabled (Perhaps by a friend giving you the Buff Banner buff) and finally, the Heavy killed with critical hits (Via random chance or a Kritzkrieg).

I know the practicality of pulling this off is a bit harder, but I think it would provide the viewer with a much more understanding of what kind of damage the weapon does.

Did you know.....WHY YES I DO!

EIther its another malfunction on my side but, has anyone even taken consideration on how the "did you know?" page has been the same since last month? rather it seems to get more facts would be to go the "More" page, but change is nice as well isnt it? Gamecrazy009 21:58, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Yeah i think its time for change.~Awesomesauce~ 00:02, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
It's been like that for ages, I don't know why. Wallacethewalrus 08:18, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
The "Did You Knows" aren't really a huge priority. But quite frankly, most of the trivia facts are... well... bad. GeminiViRiS User GeminiViRiS Doubleface.jpg Talk Contribs 08:21, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Some of the those who log on or just browse the wiki like to get random facts while at the main page i mean, whats the reason of a "did you know" section when those facts are days, weeks, months, or years old? Gamecrazy009 02:04, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Random page, random language

Can't a random page be in the language to which you have the main page? There is only a small chance that you will get a random page in English!

yes i think the random page should be in your language.tired of my random pages being in arabic.~Awesomesauce~ 00:02, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
i vote yes on thisNick Heck 04:59, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
I wrote an extension to the wiki for this. Valve has not installed it. — Wind 05:12, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

WTF

The "latest patch" section says that the most recent patch was 2/3/11, yesterday. Today is the 13th, there has been one other patch since 2/3. Explain these shenanigans. Asdfzxc920 21:55, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Odd... it went away when I refreshed the main page, but then this section of the discussion disappeared. This is just weird. Asdfzxc920 21:55, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
The wiki does not escape lag on occassions. The main page is a big offender of this, showing pages three or four edits from the latest version. Refreshing will fix it.--Focusknock 21:56, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Should we add a link to the most recently registered account?

Pictogram plus.png Support I like this idea since most websites support this kind of feature, and could help the community a little better. GeminiViRiS User GeminiViRiS Doubleface.jpg Talk Contribs 20:40, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Pictogram neutral.png Neutral Technically unfeasible without a server-side extension, and given how hard it is to get Valve to do that, and that there are many extensions that are more important waiting to be installed, I don't think this will happen soon :( — Wind 20:43, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Pictogram neutral.png Neutral Honestly, with the relatively large turnover and registration rate (especially given that we're supposedly the official Wiki), I don't see how it would actually be a positive contribution; I would not be against it, I just don't see how it would help. --LordKelvin 20:48, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Strategy

I've noticed that a while ago, weapon pages had the link to the Community strategy page of the respective class removed. Is there a specific reason for this change? I personally think the Community strategy pages have much more to offer players than the normal strategy pages, so it's kinda of a shame that they are only available at the bottom of each class page. I think both options should be available like in the past, or possibly be merged. Mikau 18:36, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

I think they're currently undergoing a massive overhaul. See the discussion page for more details.--Focusknock 18:49, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Life Extender Machines

Would anyone mind if i did a little article about the Life Extender Machines? It needs to be done after my conclution because it has kept both Blutarch and Redmond Mann for over 100 years and I want to take the task myself to make it. Trivia, History and Images will be taken from different sources from the TF Wiki and I will get also info from the "Loose Cannon". Hope I'll not make it a stub if it gets too short. Support if you agree! The Noble Scout 12:07, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

I've made the article the same way as Benjamuffin did with the Demopan which can be foun here, so if you are interested to have it as it's own article then just tell me at it's own discussion page. The Noble Scout 14:06, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
