稀有(Unusual)品质是一种物品品质,能作用在帽子和少数其他类物品上,并附有特殊的粒子效果。现在有740件物品能具有总计48种效果的一种。唯一取得稀有物品的方法就是使用曼恩公司供应箱钥匙开启曼恩公司供应箱或交易。取得稀有物品的几率约为一百五十分之一,即0.66%。 不像常规物品需要开启特定的箱子才能得到,任何的箱子都能得到任何效果的任意帽子。

由于其粒子效果的装饰作用和极低的获得几率,稀有物品被认为是TF2中最稀有的物品之一。

稀有物品的十六进制颜色代码为#8650AC。

其他稀有物品

尖叫要塞更新中引进了2件特殊的稀有品质物品: 闹鬼的废金属, 和脱缰无头骑士的斩首斧。然而,不像常规的稀有物品,闹鬼的废金属是给予给任何参与,并用近战武器打败脱缰的无头骑士的玩家,同时斩首斧也是通过包含闹鬼的废金属的蓝图合成出来的。除了带有稀有品质以外,脱缰的无头骑士的斩首斧具有和苏格兰长剑完全相同的性能。并且这两件物品都没有粒子效果,所以它们远不如普通稀有物品值钱。
