The Heavy

Upon taunting with the Fists, Saxxy, Apoco-Fists or Holiday Punch equipped, the Heavy mimics a quick-draw pistol showdown, resulting in instant death for any enemy slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be in the way.

Unlike most taunt kills, the Showdown must be aimed manually; the taunt's invisible bullet will fire in the direction the player was facing at the time. Because of this, it can be aimed in any direction, including straight up or down, and can miss even when the enemy is directly in front of the Heavy's "gun hand."

Community testing has found that the range at which this taunt will kill is actually pretty respectable for such a situational attack. The taunt can and will kill people who are standing the equivalent of 9 players away, of any class, from the Heavy performing the taunt in a horizontal line, or about the length of one of the storage units at Granary. The taunt's vertical range is approximately the distance between the ground level and second floor ceiling of 2Fort.

As with all kill taunts, this taunt can be used to kill enemy players during humiliation and stalemates.
