The Name Tag allows a player to give an item of their choosing a permanent custom name. As it is a tool, it can only be used once. If a stock item is named (40 characters or less), the player can choose to equip the item with either the custom or the original name through the character setup menu. However, if any item found through the drop system is renamed, the player will not have the option to choose to use the unnamed item.
Name tags can also drop randomly.
