A Tour of Duty is a collection of missions that may span multiple maps. Released in the Mann vs. Machine update they are available in the relative game mode only in Mann Up Mode.
Depending on the tour, completing one Tour of Duty's mission will grant a player with either an Operation Steel Trap Badge, an Operation Oil Spill Badge, or an Operation Gear Grinder Badge, level 1; after first completed Tour of Duty all next completed Tour of Duty's will increase the items level. Also completing a Tour of Duty will grant one of the Botkiller Weapons. Gold and Silver Botkiller weapons are granted from Operation Steel Trap, Rust and Blood Botkiller weapons are granted from Operation Oil Spill, and Carbonado and Diamond Botkiller weapons are granted from Operation Gear Grinder.
