The Heavy

The Dalokohs Bar (pronounced ʻDah-lock-ussʻ) is a community-made secondary weapon for the Heavy. It is a large partially opened segmented chocolate bar, with the Team Fortress logo imprinted on each chunk.

When consumed, the bar will heal 60 HP, which is 20% of the Heavy's maximum health. In addition, his maximum health is increased temporarily by 50 for the next 30 seconds, like a semi-permanent overheal. This, however, will not stack with healing from a Medigun or Dispenser. The health increase does not remain if the Heavy changes his Slot 2 loadout. Like the Sandvich, the Heavy will be immobile when consuming the bar, it does not extinguish fire, nor can it be eaten underwater. Furthermore, it cannot be dropped to heal teammates.

As of a recent update, Heavies are only allowed to constantly eat a Dalokohs Bar without a cooldown if they have full health. If any damage was sustained before eating the Dalokohs Bar, the cooldown timer will take effect.

Trivia

  • "Dalokohs" is the Russian and Ukrainian word for chocolate, "shokolad," spelled backwards.
  • The lines that can be said after consuming a Dalokohs Bar are identical to those after consuming a Sandvich, not to mention the particles of food emitting from the Heavy's mouth are the same particle effects.
  • This model was originally made for a community skin that made the Heavy resemble Coach, a survivor from Left 4 Dead 2.
  • The original skin had no team coloring and a normal map. For the RED texture, the hue of the item was changed to save time and effort.
  • The item was partially inspired by Nestlé's Yorkie chocolate bar.
