- You must be able to understand what's written below. If you can't understand, please do not touch translations, the Romanian side of the wiki is already in need of a lot of tinkering.
- If you want to translate the Wiki into Romanian you will have a medium amount of English, and at least a proper Romanian level at the language knowledge.
- Google Translate is forbidden.
- Diacritics are mandatory, not optional. That means that the words which have, should always show the letters ă,î,â,ş,ţ respectively Ă,Î,Â,Ş,Ţ.
- Always translate from the original pages on the original English Wiki.
- Do not add anything extra to the articles like trivia or more data.
- Always remember that sometimes weapons are translated differently on the Steam Translation Server, thus some Trivia should be deleted. All trivia on the Romanian articles should have at least a minimum level on sense.
- When translating be sure to translate conforming with the Steam Translation Server words. Romanian translators are allowed to work only by the words that are translated there; by words the descriptions, names, abilities, and the others are included.
- I will insist here, again. Please, do not translate any class names that have an equivalent on the Romanian side of the Wiki, it's wrong and incorrect; you have to work according to the Steam Translation Server. Even if your aesthetical senses tell you to translate Soldier into Soldat, please do not do so.
- The words that aren't translated will be used as such; the names will be updated after the Steam Translation Server translations will be updated on Team Fortress 2, no earlier.
- Even though the item names or descriptions seem easy to translate, 'do not translate them, even if it's something that you are sure about.
- To make a article to lead to a Romanian page, you will have to add /ro to the original page name. For example, to make Soldier turn into a Romanian page, you will have to add /ro after Soldier, and thus you will get Soldier/ro. Keep in mind that not all the pages are translated, thus an empty page will appear noting that the article hasn't been created.
- The /ro termination seen above is not something that should appear on the translated wiki. Thus you will add a | and after the name you want to appear before the ]]. From Soldier/ro, it will turn to Soldier. The part after | could be changed in something else, for example, He uses a rocket launcher. Anything written after the | but before ]] will be the name of the page.
- Please note that the original page is that that doesn't have any ,,Redirected from" right under the title. Only the pages that don't have any ,,Redirected from" are the good pages. The rest are redirects.
