While it has been officially removed for a while, it was in the game. Maybe a simple opening in the "Trivia" section?
Talk:Axtinguisher
Why tho? Doesn't a simple paragraph like this sound good? "In 2016 the death of Sketchek, a popular pyro youtuber, was announced. In response, Valve added a tribute in the stats of the Axtinguisher, a weapon strongly associated with his online persona. After 3 years, a video was posted on Sketchek's channel revealing that he hadn't passed, prompting Valve to remove the tribute"
It's already mentioned in the update history. No need to mention it again.
It is mentioned but it doesn't tell you why it was added or why it was removed. Also it's a bit hidden in there...
Agree with Mediarch, it's in the update history when it was both added and removed.
Nope, Trivia should not be update history. Personally, I don't think it needs to be explained, the update history is exactly for changes and explaining why this was removed is not any more relevant than explaining why something any other stat has been removed.

Users might be more incentivised to look a the "Trivia" section rather then the "Update History". Also, I think a stat is a little diffrent compared to a tribute of a presumed dead person.
The reasons as to why changes were made are just as interesting as to why they removed a single tribute imo. Trivia is also not for update history, that's in the style guide. | s | GrampaSwood

the recent Source SDK update allowed me to go through and determine exactly how the Axtinguisher's bonus damage is calculated, but the equation written out is pretty messy and doesn't deal in whole numbers. is it worth adding to the article somewhere, or at least giving a brief synopsis of? the current wording of "This base damage increase is equal to the damage the target would have taken from afterburn, ignoring damage penalties to it from weapons like the Degreaser" roughly describes it well enough, though the actual damage bonus is not the same as what the afterburn damage would have been.
to elaborate: the damage bonus begins at 20 for 0.5 seconds of afterburn duration or less, and for every 0.5 seconds/additional tick of afterburn after this, damage is increased by 3.1579, all the way up to 80 at 10 seconds of afterburn (the maximum). the damage bonus is added to the base damage of the Ax (43.55) and multiplied by 1.35 due to the mini-crit.
0.5 seconds of afterburn would result in 4 damage, much less than even the un-multiplied 20 minimum damage bonus. plus, the mini-crit multiplier makes the damage bonus per tick 4.263165 (greater than afterburn's 4 damage per tick), so the bonus damage is always higher than what the target would've taken from the afterburn.
I think its worth adding somewhere in the Trivia section!
Sounds good, though you need to make it clear and short, since its a trivia
This should not be in trivia
After what he did, he kinda deserved it
Yeah exactly

Sorry about that!
