Shotgun Spread
The spread calculation is only accurate if fixed_pellet_spread is on. On vanilla settings it's actually 15:1. Proof. This difference in spread between fixed and random pellet spread needs to be addressed for all shotguns. Gearhart (talk) 20:43, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- I don't think we should account for randomness like this. In my opinion (and in my new damage and function times that I plan on adding), they should be based on the base values of the weapons with no randomness. E.g. random damage spread, random crits, or random bullet spread all turned off.

- It's not accounting for randomness, it's accounting for the difference in spread ratio between settings. Shotguns become ~twice as accurate when fixed_pellet_spread is on, and this setting is off by default, thus the wiki page makes shotguns seem more accurate than they actually are in normal gameplay. - I don't think we should really note the spread change unless it's a section specifically talking about random spread (though I don't know if we have anything like this). It's the same issue we have right now with damage numbers being from 11-105 on the Scattergun for example. If we account for random spread on one stat, we should account for it on all of them imo. I also assume
