The Gas Grenade is a scrapped grenade weapon that was to be used by the Spy. This grenade was most likely going to act the same way as the Hallucination Grenade from the games Team Fortress and Team Fortress Classic. The reason that the Gas Grenade is not in the final version of Team Fortress 2 is due to Valve's decision to remove grenades from the game.
