Trivia
- The Engineer vs. Pyro Update was largely inspired by the Sniper vs. Spy Update from 2009, with a lot of cosmetic and weapon models coming from years gone by.
- The Smasher was considered to be added in this update, but was decided the Firestriker was a much better looking weapon.
- In the first teaser poster for the update, a weathered Repair Node can be seen in the far back.
- In the second teaser poster for the update, a Big Mean Mother Hubbard can be seen hung on the wall to the left.
- Demoman being able to use the Steel Smasher, in addition to 2 new achievements relating to him, may hint that he may have a larger role in a future update.
