The Hot Case is a community-created cosmetic item for the Pyro. It gives the Pyro a team-colored trench coat, similar to the ones typically used by detectives in film noir stories, as well as a paintable scarf.
The Hot Case was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Trivia
- The item's name is a pun on the term "cold case", which is an unsolved criminal investigation which still remains open for new evidence to support it.
- The Hot Case is based on the appearance of the fictional criminal Carmen Sandiego, who sported a very similar getup throughout most iterations.
