D-ray's Apologies

Hey Dereko! I'm D-ray, an Italian translator of the Wiki. Hear me up: one day ago, I translated this page, and I left some mistakes in it. You fixed those mistakes, but not knowing it (because I left the edit page open) I re-fixed them, doing some minor damage to the page. User:BrazilianNut edited the page, fixing some strings. Not knowing it, because of the edit page still open, I unedit them. He made me know about these mistakes, and I was shocked because I initially tought that I haven't changed anything from his edit. And this is the worst part. I blamed you for those mistakes, because I didn't see my edit. I was probably in a rush, or I left the brain in the bed that morning. Simplifying, I came here to ask sorry, for accusing you (I initially even tought you were a hacker, lol I'm so stupid). I promise that I'll never leave a edit page open. Edits on Unusual effect pages

I removed all of the extra Chinese strings because they should be part of the dictionary entries instead. Adding them to every individual page is messy. Why did you add them back? - Boba (talk) 22:59, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

We have only added translated effect names in the dictionary, while I want to show both Chinese and English names to help Chinese readers do their search.

Duplicated Display Title

Greetings, Yossef. You have Dereko's personal thanks for noticing the problem. It won't be a problem if we had the problem solved for sure, but solving the problem does make problems to me.

My humble reports have shown that the matter is resulted from simultaneous applications of {{Achievements Nav}} and {{Class Strategy Nav}}, which could not happen in most cases, but it does happen because the problematic page needs to show their contents at the same time for some readers' convenience. The two templates, both using the magic word "DEFAULTSORT", generate different sort keys for the page. And of course, only the latter one is effective, leaving the former key overwritten and an error report displayed.

Making edits on two widely-used templates for a single page that not even using the sort keys is too bad an idea, thus to solve the case, I will make individual tables on the page based on the templates instead of directly calling them. And, of course, if you know any way I can keep the nav templates without concern about the sort keys, please show me the way. 13:52, 8 August 2022 (UTC)

Greetings, CampeR. The zh-hans translation text listed in the table are well consistent with the localization file. The only supplements this one may make are:

• The translation for "Festivized" was changed from "节日化" to "彩灯" in order to better distinguish it from "节日" （Festive）.
• If convenient, it is advised to use double-byte brackets for Chinese.

在IRC频道常驻，并与其他编辑进行有效沟通，确实有利于你获取这项荣誉，但这也并非必要条件。事实上有不少编辑压根不使用IRC，依然能够得到提名资格与通过评选。

至于你说的“一年时间”，如果来源于这个页面，请看清楚它所说的内容——其所介绍的是翻译编辑者行使“自我提名”的条件。我个人建议的时间投入预算为两到三年，在此期间你需要稳定的产出、优秀的质量与良好的名誉。

此外我很确信，同时翻译四个语言的页面都不会让你失去提名资格。但这也意味着，如果你最终作为一名翻译编辑得到提名，恐怕需要经受多个语言的审查——这是否明智就取决于你的水平了。 16:16, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

Champ Stamp symbols.

Hello Dereko. So, Champ Stamp has a gold bracelet that has some Chinese symbols on it and I'm curious what it says and it might be a neat bit of trivia for the page. The text seems pretty difficult to make out so I'm honestly not even sure if it's possible to translate but I figure I'd ask someone that actually knows the language and see if you can decipher what the symbols mean. Here's a picture of the bracelet in HLMV. Here's a picture of the texture itself. Might be easier to read if you zoom out a bit but yeah. Any help would be appreciated. Given how precise the file is, that's probably the most challenging "translation work" this one has met in these days.

The only possible outcome I could manage to figure out with an actual meaning is "藍燈籠" (Blue Lantern), which is written in Traditional Chinese.

By the way, the Chinese text displayed in the concert art, "主子夫人", means "Madam Boss".

If you'd like to make the edit before my checking the Wiki on Sunday, please clarify that "Blue Lantern" is only a relatively reliable supposition.
