Source Engine Changes (CS:S, DoD:S, TF2, HL2:DM)

  • Improved sv_pure:
    • Materials / Models / Sounds / Animations are more comprehensively protected.
    • Switched from CRC to MD5 hashes for stronger per-file validation.
    • Fixed some issues between custom files and server whitelists over level changes.
  • Added HL2:MP to the list of dedicated server games when starting a server via the Tools tab in the Library

Team Fortress 2

Undocumented changes

  • Removed the (non-functioning) slowdown effect from The Shortstop.
  • Chargin' Targe no longer protects you against your own explosive damage.
  • Updated localization files.
  • Holy Mackerel client view is altered to continually face the player.
  • A new loading screen has been added, showing screenshots and duel statistics, (or in the case of community maps, donations).
  • Bonk! Atomic Punch now defaults to the primary weapon instead of the melee weapon when used.
  • Added jigglebones to the lid of the Treasure Hat.
  • Added the Backpack Expander.
  • Changed the Scottish Resistance model to use a combined world- and viewmodel.
    • Added the laser attachment to the worldmodel of the Scottish Resistance.
    • Mirrored the Scottish Resistance first person viewmodel to match the worldmodel.
  • Melee weapons no longer deal bullet damage
  • Added Map Stamps
