Mysterious Promo boxes are action items. They resemble a Carefully Wrapped Gift, with a purple design, adorned with a bright pink bow and turquoise polka dots.

These boxes are used to hide upcoming promotional items associated with merchandise, while giving a small hint about the merchandise item in question; typically shortly before it is available for sale. Each Mysterious Promo item initially contains a Flare Gun, which is later replaced by its proper item, once the promotion is revealed.
