Scream Fortress 2016 or Scream Fortress VIII was the Halloween event launched with the October 21, 2016 Patch. The update added two new taunts, 3 new maps, 24 new cosmetics, as well as a new tool item, the Unusualifier. The update also brought the return of Merasmissions, originally introduced in the previous year's event.
