The '''Walkabout''' was going to be the primary unlockable weapon for the [[Sniper]]. The Walkabout would have allowed the Sniper to walk at normal speed while sniping, with the downsides being reduced damage and no zooming or charging.  It was replaced by the [[Huntsman]] because the development team thought it made the Sniper function too similarly to players wielding Sniper rifles in the Counter-Strike games.

The Walkabout is a scrapped unlockable primary weapon for the Sniper.

According to text found in tf_english.txt, the Walkabout would have been available to Snipers after attaining a certain number of achievements. Additionally, it indicates that the Walkabout would have no headshots and a different charge rate.
