The Nail Grenade is a scrapped grenade weapon for the Soldier which originally appeared in Team Fortress and Team Fortress Classic. If it were to work the same way as it did in the previously mentioned games, the Nail Grenade would shoot out a barrage of nails and then explode. It is unknown if it would have served any other purpose.

Like all other grenades, this weapon was scrapped to prevent interruption of the game-flow, spamming, and needless stalemates.

Trivia

• The model still has animations present, where it opens up to reveal nail shooters on the inside as it spins around.
