Sam's Hat was a scrapped promotional headwear item for all classes. It appeared to be a team-colored version of the hat worn by the eponymous Sam from Sam & Max.

This hat was to be released with Max's Severed Head, the Lugermorph, and Big Kill as part of the week-long cross promotion for purchasing Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse via Steam. It was cut due to the modelling team having trouble getting the hat to fit each class properly. Team specific textures remained in the game files during and beyond the promotion, but were later removed during an unknown patch. It has, however, returned in the March 12, 2013 Patch as the Bloodhound, which is, however, wearable by the Sniper and the Spy only.
