Analysis

Key: E Major
Time Signature: 4/4
Tempo: 89 BPM
Length: 1:31
Release Date: October 9, 2007
Update: WAR!
Composer: Mike Morasky

The song is split into three distinctive parts, being blended together by use of the same key and tempo. Despite being one of the slower tracks on the soundtrack, it has a very energetic sound. It starts with a traditional-style woodwind introduction, which quickly evolves into the main portion of the song. Loud horns mark the transition, and a percussion track is added. The drums focus heavily around the toms, giving a lower, heavier drum sound. This drum sound serves not only to aide the more militant feel of the track, but to blend in the surf rock-esque guitar track as well. After this, the third and final part is introduced; bagpipes, playing both as a droning bass line and as a melody, cut through on their own before re-introducing the horns and drums from previously. The track continues to build in suspense before finally resolving, a fitting crescendo for the energy of the track.
