Seduce Me! (Soundtrack)
"Seduce Me!" is one of the song titles featured on the Team Fortress 2 Official Soundtrack, listed as track number 23. Added after the Love & War Update, it is a full version of the music heard in the Expiration Date film during the scene in which the Spy teaches Scout how to be more romantic, and is one of 33 main menu startup themes. Some of the alto saxophone's parts are used for the Killer Solo taunt.

"Seduce Me!" is written to accompany the Scout's "training montage," and it carries itself as the most funk-based entry of the soundtrack. Unlike much of Expiration Date's soundtrack, this track stays within the main key center for the majority of its duration.
The intro establishes many parts of the main groove - drumset plays plays quarter notes on a closed hi-hat, bari sax punctuates the line played by electric bass, two electric guitars alternate lines in "call-and-response" fashion, and piano plays offbeats to emphasize the 5th and 7th. This groove continues, as alto saxophone begins to solo lightly, saxophones join to fill in the space between the bari sax line, and trumpets and guitar join to play power chords on upbeats. A fill from drumset brings a more busy rhythm section, and all other instruments continue as a foundation for the alto saxophone soloist. Eventually, the ending section arrives as the track comes to a climax - all saxophones, guitars, and trumpets play alternate of each other, piano plays tremolos to outline each chord, and solo alto saxophone plays high above the band. The final chords (F minor, G minor, Ab major, and B major) lead into a C major chord, while piano plays a small fill with alto saxophone to end the track.
Update history
- Added a new startup music track from Expiration Date.
Trivia
- The name of the song is a reference of one of the lines the Spy says when he teaches Scout on how to be more romantic.
- Coincidentally, the song "Dark Necessities" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers bears similarities in the guitar work. Both songs are funk rock, and include the same palm-muted F note being played repeatedly, as heard at this point in the song. The two songs are also in the similar keys, with Seduce Me! in F Minor and Dark Necessities in C minor, the dominant of F minor.
