The Krankensage is an experimental melee weapon for the Medic that was being play-tested by Valve after it appeared in the Fancy vs. Nasty Update. It resembles a dark Bonesaw enhanced with a team-colored bar on the frame, and sharper teeth. The existence of this weapon was first discovered in the December 17, 2010 Patch when the cp_degrootkeep.lst file in the tf\reslists folder was added;
