The Dynamite pack, also known as the TNT Pack, or, due to its similarity in function to the Team Fortress Classic weapon, the MIRV Grenade, is a scrapped weapon prominently wielded by the Demoman in both Trailer 1 and Trailer 2. Based on allocation in Team Fortress Classic, it may once have also been intended as a Heavy weapon. The Dynamite pack itself consists of several TNT sticks strapped together which are swung from an attached cord by the Demoman, allowing him to physically throw it ahead of him. After the first and largest detonation, the strap breaks and the individual sticks of dynamite are scattered across the vicinity upon which they too explode with a slightly smaller individual blast radius. The Dynamite pack was eventually replaced in function by the Sticky bomb launcher.
The Dynamite pack was originally intended as a grenade weapon but was changed to a secondary weapon for the Demoman after grenades were scrapped before being removed entirely.

Trivia
- An image of a dynamite stick is the Demoman's shoulder emblem in-game.
- Beeping sounds can be found in the game files, most likely for the timer of this grenade. These were recycled and used for the pre-explosion Payload beep. This sound was also used in the Left 4 Dead series, as a sound for the Pipe Bomb.
- Valve's artwork for the Golden Wrench Charity features the Demoman about to blow up a Golden Wrench using the Dynamite pack.
